Teen Age; period of one’s life where everything seems fascinating, every glitter shines like gold, every dream makes one’s soul to elevate and spirits are alive with full enthusiasm, definitely brings new horizons of life in everybody’s way. This is the time when a child wants to be independent, tempts to break the chains of limitations, acquires stimulus to live in dreamy world and remains happy for nurturing his desires. More or less the teen age affects every teen ager in all regions, all cultures, all geographies and in all tribes. This is the time when one feels the beauty of life with the utmost passion and in the same way reacts in violent aggression if circumstances go against.
This phase of life is very sensitive and can turn teen agers in criminal adults if are not taken care of. This period brings number of problems for individuals falling in this category as well as for people around. The first factor which takes youngsters astray is to keep every glittering luxury. He may suffer with inferiority or superiority complex if remain continuously under the same effects of thought. This is the age where a person is the most sensitive and ready to response instantly. He feels everything attractive and gets indulged in the activities even going against morality.
A research conducted at international level reveals that most habits of drug addiction, smoking, alcoholic activities and heroine taking develop at this stage. Here children take it for fun and feel that they are elder enough to do such activities. This age group is the most vulnerable for getting in such troublesome deeds where one does not reckon one’s good or bad. At this point every advice or suggestion seems unpleasant and no one is ready to listen or retaliate it.
To feel the freedom from the soul is the temptation that teen age brings along with. Every teen ager wants to spend his life in his own way with his own will and under the light of his own philosophy. Parents or guardian interference brings aggression and does the worst if done in negative or strict way. Riding bikes on one wheel, breaking traffic signals for winning a bet, looting and snatching handbags and mobiles on the roads for showing one’s power, ruining public beauty and spoiling natural environment; all are the dreading actions which look like charms to teen agers.
Wishes and desires are the first priority that every teen ager keeps. He can go to the last extent to get one’s desired destination; it may be a mobile out of budget, a bike of a neighbor, a girl living in the town, a haircut of favorite model or a permit to stay out for late nights. Anything, person or factor hurdling this way to get seems killing to them. The problem is not that things get worse, no, not at all rather it is that teen agers take them on their nerves.
Here is the stage when teen agers want to enjoy new relationships. They come out of the care of the parents and love of siblings. The tempting essence of opposite sex stimulates them to break the boundaries and limits being put on by society. The girls and boys form enticing circles with the spell casting moments. The failure of such relations urges them to commit dangerous acts like suicide, drug addiction and cultivation of loathsome problems. The entrance of a third party is unbearable in the formed circles. Town, school and college love stories; all are result of the uncontrollable whirl of teenage.
An important issue that cannot be denied or ignored is the instant aggression and hot blooded reactions. Many fights arise at trivial matters and become storm just because the young blood is too egoistic to listen any other. The fight may simply start by the presentation of one’s favorite player before other, if one is too touchy about one’s choice; he will definitely not like to hear a second thought. It starts shouting which in turn leads abusing and soon the scene becomes a trailer of an action movie. Many occasion murders must have been in your sight also where two groups bullying led to somebody’s death.
Copying of top stars and players is good for having a change but keeping a craze and becoming a freak is quite dangerous and teen agers usually possess it. The reason is that adaptation of anything is very easy like descending a land but leaving or giving up is as difficult as ascending of a slope. There is always a boom of T shirts, outfits, styles, arm wears, anklets and other accessories associated with stars which are warm heartedly followed by the teen agers. Once the age is over, they find it difficult to remove them.
The single and sole solution of all these problems is the careful handling and loving treatment of all such cases. Maltreatment or the strict restricted attitude can result in the spoiling of an individual’s personality and it may cultivate a negative attitude in your child. psychiatrist and psychologist must be consulted by parents and people around on learning how to keep their young child quite satisfies as this age nourishment plays a key role in the rest of the life. A friendly relationship between parent and child is the need of solving all such issues.
Although the teen age brings number of problems yet it is equally true that no one stays uncovered by the nostalgic beauty of this age. As Blake says;
